August 2018’s box has a Fruity Ninjas theme, meaning all of the items should contain fruit or be fruit flavored. Surprisingly enough, several of them aren’t, unless you count chocolate, mint, cheese, or corn fruit. Nevertheless, this is still a fun box!

TokyoTreat Classic Review June 2018

TokyoTreat actually arrived about ten days earlier than usual this month, which was a pleasant surprise.

This month’s box is all about carnival snacks or snacks that make you think of summertime. It’s definitely hot enough outside where I am to enjoy some summertime treats!

I’m back with another TokyoTreat review! May’s theme is anime, as a play on the somewhat recent Ani-May trend a lot of websites and stores like to participate in.

The last few months have been a bit hectic in terms of receiving Skoshboxes on time and with all of the snacks (because of the US customs facility my packages go through). The solution to that was to cancel, and even though I had been a subscriber for three or so years, I figured it was for the best.

After doing some research on other Japanese snack boxes, I settled on TokyoTreat at $25 a month. I went ahead and subscribed for three months, so I’ll be reviewing them until June, when I’ll decide whether to continue subscribing or not. (I probably will, though?)

The main difference between TokyoTreat and Skoshbox is the size of the basic, or classic box. The classic TokyoTreat contains a decent bit more than the small Skoshbox, so this review will be longer than previous.
